Recommended for Residential Garages

While the Etch & Seal Kit is perfect for most residential garages, commercial floors or workshops with heavy traffic may require a thicker coating. The single coat in the Etch & Seal Kit, while durable, might not withstand the intense wear and tear of high-traffic areas. In these cases, a 2 or 3-coat polyurea kit would provide the necessary thickness and protection for a long-lasting, high-performance floor.

  • Clear Polyurea coating for desired coverage rate
  • GhostShield Eco-Etch for prepping concrete surface
  • Enough 9″ roller covers for your installation (Calculated at 300-400 sq. ft. per roller)
  • Anti-Skid additive for your topcoat to increase slip-resistance

What Do I Still Need?

  • *Mixing sticks/drill mixer for mixing product
  • *9″ Paint Roller Frame(s)
  • *NIOSH-Approved paint respirators for everyone working on the install
  • *Painter’s tape (Important: Tape needs to be pulled while the coating is wet)
  • Gloves and clothes that you don’t care about. The coating is very difficult to remove from clothing and skin if it dries onto them.
  • Shoe covers to avoid unwanted dirt or contaminants in the coating
  • Xylene or Mineral Spirits for removing product from surfaces in case of an accident
