Spiked shoes can be used to walk across your wet epoxy coating without leaving footprints in it, allowing you to broadcast your flake whether you are using a full broadcast or a lighter flake.

IMPORTANT: Spiked shoes are compatible with our EPOXY coatings only. Polyurea and TruAlloy coatings are too thin and spiked shoe imprints may be visible in the coating after your coating cures.

Spiked shoes are often used to walk across wet epoxy coatings to apply flake to the coating but are not required. As an alternative, apply the coating in sections that are small enough to broadcast flake onto them without stepping on the wet coating.
